Pet Shop Boys — англійський музичний гурт, заснований у 1981 році, що працює в напрямках синти-поп та електропоп Складається з двох учасників: Ніла Тенанта (Neil Tennant) і Кріса Лоу (Chris Lowe).Pet Shop Boys є одним із найбільш комерційно успішних плідних колективів Великобританії, що записують танцювальну музику Дебютний альбом гурту «Please» вийшов у березні 1986 року, потрапив до «гарячих десяток» чартів Британії і США і зрештою отримав мультиплатиновий статус Успіху платівки дуже посприяв сингл «West End Girls» Другий альбом Pet Shop Boys під назвою «Actually» побачив світ за півтора роки і став ще успішнішим Він містив хіти «It's A Sin», «Rent», «Heart», що тепер є класикою групи, а також дует з зіркою 60-х Дасті Спрінгфілд «What Have I Done To Deserve This?» Окрім ще кількох «платин» диск приніс своїм творцям премію BPI Awards 1988, як групі року, і увійшов до книги «1001 Альбом, які ви повинні почути до того, як помрете» Черговий сплеск популярності дуету відбувся після виходу у 1993 році п’ятого альбому «Very» з його суперхітами «Can You Forgive Her?» і особливо «Go...
